I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Mrs. Nakamya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Nakamya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me religious studies in 2010 at Kisumu Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
