Mrs. Nabwire

35 years teaching physics in Kampala

  • 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
  • Silverlake Middle School
  • Since 1997
  • English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Mrs. Nabwire

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
