I teach social studies at Bakersfield Girls' School in Bakersfield since 1990. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
