Mrs. Mia

Accounting teacher at Savar Girls' School, Since 1978

🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Savar Girls' School
Since 1978
English, Bengali, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Mrs. Mia

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Accounting Spanish

What gifts mean to Mrs. Mia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
