Mrs. Merritt
Environmental science teacher at Newport Primary School, 1994 to 2010
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Primary School
- 1994 to 2010
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 740 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Merritt: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 1996 at Newport Primary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
