Mrs. Mercado
Geography and mathematics teacher, Bacoor
- 🇵🇭 Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines
- Ashford Secondary School
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Mercado
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me geography in 2012 at Ashford Secondary School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
