Mrs. Mendoza
14 years teaching history in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Academy
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Mendoza: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2024 at Los Angeles Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

You taught me history in 2021 at Los Angeles Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.
