Mrs. Mekonnen
Economics and chemistry teacher, Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- 1991 to 2019
- English, Amharic
I taught economics at Mekelle Primary School in Mekelle from 1991 to 2019. Most days I taught primary school children, and I played music while people worked.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
More about Mrs. Mekonnen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Mekonnen: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your primary school children class in 2005. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from São Paulo.
