I taught special education at Phoenix Technical College in San Francisco from 1984 to 2002. Most days I taught Year 9, and I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Mrs. Mejia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Mejia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
