Mrs. McDonald
24 years teaching social studies in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Kingsway Academy
- 2002 to 2024
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Mrs. McDonald
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2017. I remember you. Greetings from Yonkers.
