Mrs. McDaniel
History and physics teacher, Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston High School
- 2015 to 2023
- English
I taught history at Houston High School in Houston from 2015 to 2023. Most days I taught primary school children, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. McDaniel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. McDaniel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
