Mrs. Maulana
Biology and special education teacher, Magelang
- 🇮🇩 Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Sunrise Academy
- 1982 to 1993
- English, Indonesian
I taught biology at Sunrise Academy in Magelang from 1982 to 1993. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Maulana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Maulana: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
