I taught religious studies at St. Mary's Middle School in Makati from 1985 to 2014. Most days I taught teenagers, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Martinez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Martinez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me religious studies in 1987 at St. Mary's Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
