I teach agriculture at Ashford Primary School in Jakarta Barat since 2001. Most days I teach teenagers, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Lubis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
