For 16 years I was the French teacher at Baobab Technical College. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Lubega: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
