Mrs. Lawrence
23 years teaching computer science in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Secondary School
- 2007 to 2015
- English
I taught computer science at Oakland Secondary School in Oakland from 2007 to 2015. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Lawrence
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
