I teach English literature and design and technology at Northside Middle School, Sherbrooke. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Laurent
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Laurent: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
