Mrs. Kurniawan
Retired home economics teacher from Brookfield Middle School
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Brookfield Middle School
- 1989 to 2024
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Kurniawan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 2015 at Brookfield Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
