Mrs. Komarov
19 years teaching special education in Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Kyiv Academy
- Since 1983
- English, Ukrainian
For 43 years I have been the special education teacher at Kyiv Academy. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the end-of-term party.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Komarov: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me special education in 2020 at Kyiv Academy. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
