Mrs. Khumalo
Physics and home economics teacher, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Grammar School
- 1978 to 2015
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mrs. Khumalo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Khumalo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1978. I remember you. Greetings from Coventry.

You taught me physics in 2021 at Soweto Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

you taught me physics in 2015 at Soweto Grammar School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
