Mrs. Khatun

Religious studies teacher at Edinburgh Academy, 2000 to 2020

🇬🇧 Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
2000 to 2020
English, Bengali

For 20 years I was the religious studies teacher at Edinburgh Academy. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Mrs. Khatun

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Khatun: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
