Mrs. Kato

Teacher at Dar es Salaam Technical College, loves accounting

🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Since 1998
English, Swahili

I teach accounting at Dar es Salaam Technical College in Dar es Salaam since 1998. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 1,620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mrs. Kato

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Kato: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
