Mrs. Karim
Retired English literature teacher from Highland Middle School
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Highland Middle School
- 2003 to 2021
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Karim
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me English literature in 2006 at Highland Middle School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
