Mrs. Karakaya
Social studies teacher at Istanbul Middle School, Since 2002
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Since 2002
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Karakaya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
