Mrs. Karakaya

Music teacher at Ashford Grammar School, 1989 to 2007

🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
1989 to 2007
English, Turkish

Ashford Grammar School was my second home. I taught music there from 1989 to 2007, mostly the final-year class. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mrs. Karakaya

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Karakaya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
