I taught Spanish at Holy Cross Girls' School in Gwangju from 1978 to 2006. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Kang: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
