I teach history and special education at Oakwood Academy, Swansea. I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 1,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Johnston
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Johnston: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 2002 at Oakwood Academy. I still remember the surprise birthday cake
