For ten years I have been the environmental science teacher at Oakland Middle School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mrs. Johnston
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
