Mrs. Johnston
English literature and physics teacher, Parramatta
- 🇦🇺 Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia
- Queensway Primary School
- 2002 to 2024
- English
For 22 years I was the English literature teacher at Queensway Primary School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mrs. Johnston
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Johnston: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2015. I remember you. Greetings from Pokhara.

You taught me English literature in 2011 at Queensway Primary School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
