Mrs. Ismail
Accounting teacher at Cairo Middle School, 1981 to 1999
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Middle School
- 1981 to 1999
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ismail: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2004. I remember you. Greetings from Colorado Springs.

You taught me accounting in 1985 at Cairo Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
