I taught history and geography at Cape Town Middle School, Cape Town. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,100 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
