For 18 years I have been the special education teacher at Dayton High School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
