Mrs. Ibáñez
19 years teaching economics in Mérida
- 🇲🇽 Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico
- Mérida Grammar School
- Since 2009
- Spanish
For 17 years I have been the economics teacher at Mérida Grammar School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Ibáñez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Ibáñez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
