Mrs. Hutapea

Drama and mathematics teacher, Bekasi

🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia
Lakeview Secondary School
Since 2011
English, Indonesian

I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mrs. Hutapea

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
