Mrs. Hutapea
French and Spanish teacher, Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Victory High School
- Since 2010
- English, Indonesian, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mrs. Hutapea
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Hutapea: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2023 at Victory High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
