I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Hughes
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Hughes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
