I teach special education at Crescent Secondary School in Belfast since 2016. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Herrera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Herrera: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
