Mrs. Haynes
Home economics and physics teacher, Manukau
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Riverside Primary School
- Since 1983
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

You taught me home economics in 1999 at Riverside Primary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
