Mrs. Hawkins
Retired physics teacher from Auckland Grammar School
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Auckland Grammar School
- 1986 to 2019
- English
I taught physics at Auckland Grammar School in Auckland from 1986 to 2019. Most days I taught primary school children, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Hawkins
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Hawkins: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
