Mrs. Hansen
13 years teaching economics in Baton Rouge
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
- Parkside Grammar School
- Since 1987
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mrs. Hansen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Hansen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me economics in 2004 at Parkside Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me economics in 2025 at Parkside Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Thank you again.
