Mrs. Hamisi
Geography and early years teacher, Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Lakeview Academy
- Since 1999
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,000 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mrs. Hamisi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I was in your teenagers class in 2008. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Riyadh.
