Mrs. Hamisi
Mathematics and home economics teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 2000

For 26 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Kilimanjaro Technical College. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Hamisi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Hamisi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
