I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Hamid
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Hamid: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
