Mrs. Guzmán
Art and history teacher, Joliet
- 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
- Joliet Girls' School
- Since 2000
- English, Spanish, French
I teach art at Joliet Girls' School in Joliet since 2000. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Guzmán
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Guzmán: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
