For 18 years I was the music teacher at Jacaranda Girls' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
