Mrs. Guimarães
Special education and physics teacher, Maringá
- 🇧🇷 Maringá, Paraná, Brazil
- Liberty Middle School
- Since 1987
- Portuguese
For 39 years I have been the special education teacher at Liberty Middle School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Mrs. Guimarães
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Guimarães: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me special education in 2006 at Liberty Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
