I taught social studies at Crescent Technical College in Paris from 1986 to 2002. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
