Mrs. Gonzales
Retired environmental science teacher from Cairns High School
- 🇦🇺 Cairns, Queensland, Australia
- Cairns High School
- 2004 to 2023
- English, French
Cairns High School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 2004 to 2023, mostly teenagers.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Gonzales
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Gonzales: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me environmental science in 2018 at Cairns High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Greetings from Arlington.

You taught me environmental science in 2005 at Cairns High School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Truly.

I'm a pharmacist now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Eugene.
