Mrs. Gonçalves

19 years teaching art in Duque de Caxias

  • 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Duque de Caxias Boys' School
  • Since 2004
  • Portuguese
For 22 years I have been the art teacher at Duque de Caxias Boys' School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.

More about Mrs. Gonçalves

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Gonçalves: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2016 at Duque de Caxias Boys' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
