Mrs. Getu
Retired accounting teacher from Mekelle Grammar School
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Grammar School
- 1995 to 2025
- English, Amharic, French
Mekelle Grammar School was my second home. I taught accounting there from 1995 to 2025, mostly primary school children.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
More about Mrs. Getu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Getu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me accounting in 1996 at Mekelle Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
